General managers rarely want another dashboard login. They want a chart on the table with a sentence explaining why March diverged from March two years ago.

Our annotation practice marks specific dates on occupancy curves: a cancelled city marathon, a typhoon week, a new high-speed rail timetable. Each note ties to a verifiable event so the GM can confirm or challenge it in the room.

We avoid decorative chart junk. Grid lines stay light; brass-toned accent marks highlight only the intervals under discussion. Numerical callouts sit beside the axis, not floating in margins.

After a quarterly briefing, clients keep the printed folio in the revenue office. Digital PDFs mirror the print layout so remote area managers see identical markings.
